Mad Norwegian Press is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of two new Doctor Who books… the long-awaited Running Through Corridors 2 by Toby Hadoke and Robert Shearman (with a Foreword by Louise Jameson), and Space Helmet for a Cow 2 by Paul Kirkley.
Both books will be officially released on December 6, 2016, with advance copies available at Chicago TARDIS in late November. The ebook of Space Helmet 2 will also be available on December 6; the ebook of Running Through Corridors 2 will go on sale six months later, in May 2017.
Running Through Corridors is the diary of Toby Hadoke and Robert Shearman’s heroic, madcap rewatch of Doctor Who (the two of them barrelled through the whole series in 2009, culminating in David Tennant’s departure on New Year’s Day). This second volume covers the whole of the 1970s: all five years of Jon Pertwee’s tenure, and the first six seasons featuring Tom Baker as the Doctor.
Space Helmet for a Cow is the behind-the-scenes story of Doctor Who, as written by journalist Paul Kirkley. The second volume covers the entirety of the Wilderness Years, the debut of the TV Movie starring Paul McGann, the inception of the new series starring Christopher Eccleston, and on through to Matt Smith’s swan song in 2013.
Running Through Corridors 2 will be 400 pages, and retail in print for $29.95. Space Helmet for a Cow 2 will be 304 pages, and retail in print for $19.95.
